In continuation of the implementation of the Performance Improvement Action Plan (PIAP) activities and PDO for Q4 and following the announcement in which all heads of departments and procurement, M&E, Laboratory, Maintenance, ICT, and Communication units were invited, Imo State Water and Sewerage Corporation (ISWSC) on 25 October 2023 convened an internal budget defence.
This defence was led by Mrs MaryTeddy Onogbo, who explained certain features of the budget including external revenues, projected recurrent estimate, taxes, fines, earnings and sales, overhead costs, and nominal roll.
After her presentation at ISWSC Conference Hall, suggestions and observations were made to fine-tune the budget. The Managing Director and CEO of the Corporation advised that the issues raised at the meeting should be taken into consideration to order to produce an objective budget that reflects current socioeconomic realities.
