In continuation of the implementation of the Performance Improvement Action Plan (PIAP) for Q2 and the PDO of the NG-SURWASH programme, the Managing Director/CEO of Imo State Water and Sewerage Corporation (ISWSC) with other implementing agencies in the state were engaged in a review meeting with the representatives (Mr Musa Iliyasu, Mrs Uche Iwuala, and Donald Okongwu) of Federal Project Implementation Unit (FPIU) and World Bank. The essence of the meeting was to consider areas of achievements, challenges, and prospects of various Implementation Agencies (IAs) in the state with a view of speeding up on the PIAP for Q2. The reports of ISWSC and other implementation agencies were received with some documents demanded by FPIU submitted.
Site inspection, E&S screening, E&S reports for various categories, advertisement/selection tendering, standard bidding documents, contractors’ submissions, pre-qualification exercise, tender board meeting/minutes of negotiations, awards, contract of agreements, site possession, site inspection, payment certificates, and project handling over as presented in the meeting are relevant minimum requirements needed from IAs in order to meet the standard yardsticks of World Bank.
