According to the Managing Director and CEO of the Corporation, this groundbreaking effort stands as a testament to the state’s commitment to eradicating open defecation and open urination in urban areas, and it comes with heartfelt appreciation to the esteemed Governor, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, for his unwavering dedication to revitalizing the civil service and its surrounding environment. Engr. Ugoanyanwu also acknowledged the Head of Service Barr. Raymond Obioma Ucheoma for supporting the Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project within the premises of the secretariat, adding that his dedicated commitment to the initiative has been instrumental in propelling its impact on the overall sector transformation.
Leading his team for the reticulation of the rehabilitated sanitation facility, Engr Henry Adiruo, who is the Head of Water Services at the Corporation, also explained that the project aims at breathing new life into the sanitation project that serves as vital components of Imo State Civil Service Secretariat.
