THE CONSTITUTION, ESTABLISHMENT, & INAUGURATION OF RISK RESILIENCE & EMERGENCY RESPONSE (RRER) UNIT AND NON-REVENUE WATER (NRW) UNIT ON 23RD MARCH 2023.
The Imo State Water and Sewerage Corporation inaugurated the Risk Resilience & Emergency Response (RREP) Unit and the Non-Revenue Water (NRW) Unit on Thursday 23rd March 2023.
The Establishment of the Units is critical as outlined in the first quarter activities of the Corporation’s Performance Improvement Action Plan (PIAP).
The Managing Director Engr. Emeka Ugoanyanwu constituted the RRER Unit and NRW Unit with 5 and 8 members respectively. In his speech, he urged all staff that have been chosen for this task to be diligent in their duties. He assured them of the management support and encouraged synergy among staff.
In their responses, the Head of RRER Unit Mr. Emenike Obiuku and Head NRW Unit Engr. Nnamdi Dennis Nwabueze both thanked the Managing Director and Staff of ISWSC for the opportunity of being called upon to serve. They assured the Corporation of their commitment and promised the dedication of the units to the actualization of the Corporation’s set goals.
The Managing Director informed the staff that the NRW Unit will be directly under Water Services Department, under the Supervision of the HoD Engr. Henry Adiruo.
Finally, the MD/CEO thanked the Executive Governor of Imo State His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for his unrelenting effort to reposition the WASH sector of the State.
