In line with the Program Development Objectives (PDO) of the NG_SURWASH and as outlined in the first quarter activities of the Corporation’s Performance Improvement Action Plan (PIAP), the MD/CEO ISWSC Engr. Emeka Ugoanyanwu FNSE FNIWE NPOM FOSHA KSJI today inaugurated a 7-member Budget Committee.
In his remark, the Managing Director charged the committee to be devoted and work diligently to the success of the program in the state. He also urged them to work in synergy with other teams/committees that will also be set up in the agency to achieve same goal.
Further in his own words, the MD reiterated that “Effective Budget preparation, Review and efficient implementation following robust template is a key step to the effective implementation of the SURWASH program and sustainability of WASH services”
The Chief Executive Officer thanked our WASH-Friendly Governor, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for his avowed efforts to reposition the WASH sector of Imo State.
In her response, the Chairperson of the Committee Mrs. MaryTeddy Ononogbo thanked the MD for his unrelenting effort to WASH activities and his custom-built ability to ensure that the SURWASH Program is actualized in Imo State.
